Charting

What program or app does everyone use to create their own charts? I use fidelity pro and I’m not a huge fan of their setup. Is there a third party app y’all use that allows you to save charts and thats easy to draw on?

I like tradingview. Lots of functionality, and also active user base (to see other people’s charts and ideas)

I mostly use the native charting in Thinkorswim. The mobile app is pretty handy too for throwing up some quick lines and alerts if I need to leave the house.

I find Webull is easier, but Tradingview is much more powerful. I use both.

TOS all day.

aaaaaaa

Thank you. For TOS or Tradingview, do you need to hold cash in an account to activate and to use the tools?

You can open a paper trading account with TDA (ToS) but I think they don’t let you set to real time until you deposit into a trading account. Can’t recall if there’s a minimum now.

@jgsavoldi down the road will Anemoi be set up for automatic trades? If so, with what platform? I guess that would simplify my opening of a new account for better charting question. I’d hate to open a bunch of different accounts. I’d rather keep it to my Fidelity and possibly whatever Anemoi will work best with.

You don’t for Tradingview. I use both Tradingview and Webull. I like Tradingview better.
